When Vantage ventured across the Missouri River in 1983 and opened our Cave Springs branch, St. Charles County was in the midst of real growth. It has been one of the fastest-growing counties in the country. After 55% growth in the ‘80s and 33% growth in the ‘90s, and a continued growth of 13% starting in 2000, we decided Y2K would be a good time to add more presence in St. Charles County. In 2000 we opened our O’Fallon branch at Highway K and Highway 70.
